Built the night it dropped.
July 8, 2026. Grok 4.5 lands, xAI's first real coding agent. Within the hour, one thing is obvious: there's no native Mac app for it. Nothing. You could have one of the most capable coding models ever shipped, and your only desk was a browser tab or a terminal window.
So we started that night. One developer, one Grok agent, working around the clock. Two days later it was done: free, Apple-notarized, and out in the world. We'd tell you it was a carefully planned launch, but you've read the dates.
SuperGrok Mac is for people who want terminal-agent power inside something that actually feels like a Mac. Real project folders. A real shell. An approval gate on every command. Glass panes. Stage wallpapers. Twelve skins. Sessions that come back when you do. ⌘K for everything. The agents got scary good; their homes stayed ugly. We fixed the home.
And it's free, because builders deserve a real desk and we weren't going to make you expense one. If it earns a place in your dock, the tip jar is right there. That's the whole business model.

- Read and write files, run shell commands, and attach your screenshots, with a diff or command preview before anything touches disk. You pick the leash: Ask, Balanced, or YOLO. The tool log keeps receipts.
